Triplet

Triplet is a Set! like card game for iPhone and iPad.

Instructions

The object of the game is to find a Triplet of 3 cards. Each card has 4 features: shape, color, number and shading. A triplet consists of 3 cards for which each feature is equal or pairwise different.

Example 1:

All three cards have the same color and number of symbols and pairwise different shapes and shadings.

Example 2:

All three cards have pairwise different colors, numbers, shapes and shadings.

Example 3:

No Triplet! The shading is neither equal nor pairwise different.

Game Variants

81 Cards:

A complete card deck (81 cards) is used. For each Triplet you get 3 points. You lose 2 points for an incorrect Triplet. Click in the free space below the cards, if you think that there is no Triplet. If you are right, 3 more cords are shown and you get 4 points. You lose 2 points, if you are wrong. The game ends, if there are no more cards and no more Triplets.

300 Seconds:

Rules are same as above, but the game ends after 300 seconds and cards of Triplets are returned to the card deck.

Countdown:

For each Triplet you get a specified amount of time (proportional to the number of pairwise different features). If you find a Triplet, you get the remaining seconds as points. You lose 10 points for an incorrect Triplet. The game ends if the time runs out.
